Release Notes — June 26, 2025
Features
- Feature added: Agents can now add blank signature boxes to contracts for external users before entering the submission flow, allowing them to fully prepare offers with seller names in advance.
- Feature: Implemented document folder breadcrumbs to display the folder name at the top of a document, aiding agents by clarifying which document version they are currently viewing.
- The new feature automates the linking of clients to offer transactions immediately after their creation in the limited agent signup flow, eliminating the need for manual linking.
- A new feature has been added to the Linking Flow - Limited Agent UX, introducing an additional modal screen in the Submit Offer process, allowing agents to select and copy documents into a linked offer folder to streamline document handling and reduce confusion.
- Feature: Enhanced user experience in the linking flow for normal agents by adding a final screen to clarify document copying options when linking an offer with a GIC listing.
- Feature added to allow users to distinguish between documents from different folders when attaching them in a message modal.
- Feature: Renamed 'Transaction Templates' to 'Document Bundles' to enhance clarity and align with training terminology.
- Feature: Prevent the deletion of individual client records linked to a group or legal entity to prevent agent confusion and system issues.

- Feature: Implemented search functionality in the GIC Admin tabs for Projects, Brokerages, Templates, Project Users, and User Roles.
- Feature: The "+listing" and "+buyside" buttons are now hidden for external transactions to prevent incorrect email associations.
- Feature update: Implemented a solution for seamless access to app.getincontract.com/admin in Chrome, eliminating the need for a hard refresh to reach the admin login screen.
Bugs
- Fixed a bug where the listing agent could view the intended offer price of an unsubmitted linked offer in the listing summary.
- The "Document Locking Bug," which allowed agents to alter locked documents using "template" and "autofill" buttons, has been fixed to prevent changes after locking.
- Fixed a bug where new listing transactions in the transaction tab incorrectly displayed the workspace admin as the agent instead of the actual agent of record.
- Bug fix: Resolved an issue where team leaders were being automatically and incorrectly added to transactions after an agent was removed from a team or workspace, potentially causing privacy concerns.
- Fixed a bug where "soft deleted" documents were incorrectly appearing as options in the "add" interface for client profiles.
- Fixed a bug where the 'Agent' column in the client 'Representations' list incorrectly displayed ghost users (team leaders/admins) instead of the actual agent, causing confusion and clutter in the interface.
- Fixed a bug where updating a client's email in their profile did not update the email used when sending messages, as the system continued to use the old email address.
- Fixed a bug where auto-fill on the staging site incorrectly inserted the first client's email into the email field for both clients.
- Bug fixed: Users can now proceed after adding a property address to a transaction in the app.
- Fixed a bug where the transaction status failed to update to "u/c" when the counter was sent using the send message button instead of the counter button.
- Fixed a bug in the GIC linked transaction message model where the +listing and +buyside buttons incorrectly inserted the sender's email instead of the other party's email when sending messages.
- Fixed a bug in the client profile where signed documents were incorrectly displayed in the signable documents widget instead of being moved to the documents widget.
- Fixed the bug causing duplicate document entries in the send message modal when submitting an external offer, ensuring only a single version of each document is displayed.
- Bug fix: Restrict deletion of transactions with received offers, ensuring records remain in GIC despite unpublishing.
- Fixed bug: Prevented the clearing of signatures in the ERS agreement after both the agent and seller client have signed and mutually executed the document.

Features
- A new feature ensures that applying a template no longer overwrites filled fields with blanks, but a warning remains for filled fields being overwritten by template data.
- Feature: Unified the 'New Client' button across user experiences to offer streamlined client creation options, changing 'Client Group' to 'Multiple Clients' in both limited agent and paying user flows.
- A feature has been added to update the external offer submission flow by replacing the "Link" button with a "Submit" button to prevent confusion, as external offers don't require linking to a listing.
- Feature: Implemented automatic autofill of client names into the signature block's 'client name' field, reducing manual errors and ensuring alignment with backend data.
- Feature implemented to hide offer details and display only "offer linked" with the agent's name when an offer is linked but not submitted.
- Feature: Added "Agent Name" in the UI to display the listing agent's name during the offer linking process.
- Feature added: Implemented a manual "copy original documents to this folder" button with a wizard interface for users to select original documents for copying, addressing confusion about document duplication and signature box issues.
- Feature: Added a "link transaction" button to manually connect projects in GIC to GIC transactions before an offer is submitted, creating necessary folders on both sides once linked.
- Feature: Introduced a "+TC" button to the message model, allowing agents to easily insert the TC email into messages when a TC is involved in the transaction.
- Feature added: A "Resend Invite" button has been introduced to the client profile, allowing agents to resend email invitations to clients.
- Feature: Added the ability to include a link to the contact sheet when sending a message from a transaction.

- A new "notes" tab has been added to transaction screens, allowing agents, TCs, and workspace admins to privately share and view notes, separate from message history, without visibility to guests or vendors.
- A new feature has been added to allow the application of email templates when sending invitation emails from a client's profile.

- Feature: Implemented functionality from CTMe allowing the contract date to remain editable after a document is signed, streamlining pre-signing and updating processes without unlocking the entire document, aligning workflows and saving time for agents, TCs, and clients.
- Feature implemented to enhance the signature system by disabling autosave during guided entry, changing save behavior to occur upon confirmation, locking documents post-signature, and adding a pop-up warning for page exit.
- Feature: Added filtering options for client tabs, allowing users to quickly view recently added clients, active transactions, and filter by groups, individuals, or entities to assist those less familiar with client names.
- Feature: Enhanced Net Sheet tool allows agents to calculate estimated seller proceeds, auto-fill data, and generate customizable PDFs to manage client expectations during transactions.
- A new feature has been added allowing templates to be utilized across multiple workspaces, enabling agents and TCs to retain access to their personal templates when moving between brokerages.
- Feature: Introduced customizable "seller signature" fields in external offers, allowing agents to choose an unlimited number of signature lines to accommodate multiple signers.
- Feature: Implemented a mechanism to localize updates to only the edited fields, preventing the overwriting of unchanged fields when documents are saved in the background.
- Feature added to display the names of signatories when hovering over partially executed documents for better user experience.
Bugs
- Fixed a bug where linking offers with listings had multiple issues, including improperly adjusting signature blocks, missing seller information in contracts, duplicate disclosures, incorrect modal messaging, and sending redundant emails.
- The "Transaction Linking Epic" ticket resolves issues related to offer submission visibility, incorrect button states, and document copying permissions to ensure seamless transaction management and communication between agents in real estate transactions.
- Fixed bug where the co-agent's name was not autofilling into the CBS signature block as expected.
- Bug fix implemented to ensure documents and signatures are retained when disclosures from the originals folder are copied to the offer folder.
- Bug fixed: Message history for sent messages and invitation emails within the client profile is now accurately displayed.
- Fixed a bug where clicking the "sign" button after configuring signature fields did not initiate the signature flow in external offer documents.
- Bug fix: Resolved an issue where re-adding a deleted CBS to the originals folder resulted in duplication in the offer folder on the buy side.
- Bug fix: Resolved an issue where only the first buyer's name was auto-filled in the signature box, ensuring all three buyer names now appear correctly.
- Fix: Resolved an issue where the legal entity signers' names were not auto-filling into the signature boxes on the ERB form, ensuring that all expected fields are populated correctly.
- Fixed bug where a listing's status did not update from "terminated" to "under contract" when a new offer was fully executed.
- Bug fix implemented to disable and update the "submit offer" button text when an offer is under contract on the buy side.
- Fixed a pagination bug in the D&D tab of transactions where certain deadlines were not appearing consistently across pages unless the row count was expanded.
- A bug has been fixed by adding a 'Restart Subscription' button for users with cancelled subscriptions, allowing them to resubscribe without creating a new billing record.
- Fixed a bug where adding a new ERB document to a client profile incorrectly carried over the date from the existing ERB.
- Fixed a bug where the dropdown menu in the transactions tab showed the client's name instead of the agent's name when sorting by agent.
- Fixed bug where the "signable docs" tab on the client home screen was not displaying all documents that needed to be signed.
- Fixed bug where MEC closing date was not displaying in offer details on external offers, while hard dates were displayed correctly.
- Fixed a bug in the staging environment where unselected documents were being sent when submitting an offer to a GIC listing.
- Fixed a bug in the Client Profile where selecting 5 transactions per page did not update correctly, and 18 transactions were displayed instead.
- Bug fix implemented to enforce valid phone number input, preventing incorrect data entries like names in phone number fields.
- Fixed a bug where documents were not duplicated when duplicating an offer, despite selecting the option to duplicate both people and documents.
- Fixed a bug where the agent filter was not displaying all agents in the workspace in the staging environment.
- Bug Fix: Listings that are terminated as part of a transaction will now automatically revert to a "published" state to allow for the acceptance of new offers, resolving the issue of listings being completely locked.
- Fixed a bug where filtering the Client List by agent in the staging environment caused the list to become blank.
- Fix implemented to ensure the download loading state remains visible while scrolling through a PDF document.
- Implemented a feature to enhance the "Send To" dropdown by filtering out clients and displaying vendor names alongside email addresses for a clearer selection process when adding third parties to transactions.
- Updated the email "To" field to automatically recognize and separate email addresses entered in a comma or semicolon format, removing the need for a "+Create" button and replacing it with a "+Add" feature for clarity and improved user experience.
- A bug causing the Exclusive Right to Sell autofill to incorrectly pull in another agent's information instead of the correct agent's details has been fixed.
- Fixed a bug where manually created listings did not display the address in the autofill despite being entered, within the "address" project context.
- The bug where users could update their signature field after completing the signing process has been fixed to ensure the field is locked post-signature.
- Bug fix: Admin view of project documents now correctly displays the web view instead of the PDF, allowing real-time updates for customer service.
- Fix for bug: Ensured all original CBS dates transfer correctly upon counter-signing in offers submitted through GIC, rather than only the edited date.
- Fixed a bug where D&D from the original offer were not pulling through upon executing an external counter offer.
- Fixed a bug where the transaction price did not update after a price change in an executed counter.
